Jeff is also engaged in the research and design of the public realm at night. Working with his students, he introduces temporary light installations throughout the city.听
During the summer he and his colleague Professor Rudy Barton take students to Spain to compare and contrast successful public space making.
He is on the board of the Willamette Light Brigade鈥攁 non-profit organization charged with lighting Portland鈥檚 bridges鈥攁nd the Lawrence Halprin Foundation.
