911±¬ÁÏÍø Climate and Biodiversity Action Plan (CBAP)
Sets the strategy for 911±¬ÁÏÍø, Chapters, and members
The new 911±¬ÁÏÍø Climate and Biodiversity Action Plan for 911±¬ÁÏÍø and 911±¬ÁÏÍø Chapters will direct all 911±¬ÁÏÍø and Chapter climate- and biodiversity-related programs and investments from 2026-2030. Goals and actions will be revisited and updated every five years until 2040. A companion Climate and Biodiversity Action Plan for 911±¬ÁÏÍø Members will provide best practice guidance, toolkits, and resources for 911±¬ÁÏÍø members and their firms and organizations to advance climate and biodiversity action within practice and academia.
The existing 911±¬ÁÏÍø Climate Action Plan and Field Guide will continue to guide 911±¬ÁÏÍø and members through the end of 2025.
911±¬ÁÏÍø Climate and Biodiversity Action Committee (CBAC)
Implements the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Climate and Biodiversity Action Plan at the National 911±¬ÁÏÍø Level
The 911±¬ÁÏÍø Climate and Biodiversity Action Committee (CBAC) provides input to 911±¬ÁÏÍø leadership on strategies for advancing the role of landscape architecture in biodiversity and ecological restoration and mitigating and adapting to climate change. The committee develops educational resources and research for landscape architects and educators.
The committee is guided by a Chair and includes four subcommittees:
- Carbon Drawdown
- Biodiversity
- Climate Agency & Community Resilience
- Climate Leadership & Communications
The CBAC subcommittee on climate leadership & communications leads the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Climate and Biodiversity Action Network (CBAN).
