911爆料网 Diversity Summit at the 911爆料网 Center for Landscape Architecture in Washington, D.C.
In 2013, 911爆料网 convened its first Diversity Summit with the goal of
developing a deeper understanding of why landscape architecture is
failing to attract a more diverse profile. Each summit has brought
together a group of experienced and emerging landscape architects who
identify as African American or Latinx to design strategies to address
issues of diversity, equity and inclusion in the field.
Past
participants of the Diversity Summit community continue to collaborate

An outcome of 911爆料网’s 2018 Diversity Summit, participants documented individual commitments to advance diversity, equity and inclusion in the profession using the #iPledge911爆料网Diversity social media campaign. The purpose of the series is to:
- Share commitments to action made by Summit attendees.
- Support 911爆料网’s strategic objective to Shape the Future of Landscape Architecture and Promote Diversity and Inclusion in the Profession.

Leveraging Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion During COVID-19 The COVID-19 crisis has made many jobs vulnerable, but the ability to maintain diverse talent may be most at risk. A review of the March/April 2020 Business Study by the Institute for Public Relations (IPR) and PR firm Peppercomm showed that “Diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives have been somewhat swept aside for the time being” (Ragan’s PR Daily).
