Aida Curtis, F911爆料网, is Chair of the 911爆料网 Biodiversity and Climate Action Committee (BCAC). She is President and Co-Founder of , based in Miami, Florida.

Aida is a trailblazer in addressing climate change’s impacts through landscape architecture. She has over 40 years of experience as a landscape architect, arborist, certified landscape inspector, and leader of her firm.

Leading the go-to Hispanic- and woman-owned landscape architecture firm in South Florida has enabled her to create sustainable spaces that are economically and socially inclusive. Aida’s portfolio includes award-winning transportation, recreational, institutional, and civic projects. Her creative, practical, and cost-effective solutions are coupled with a specialization in consensus-building and addressing challenges through effective communication.

Recently, she led the firm’s Jose Marti Park Adaptive Redesign, the first project in Florida to be Waterfront Edge Design Guidelines (WEDG)-verified and the second one outside New York. Aida was a member of the Technical Advisory Committee for WEDG v3.0. As a strong advocate of WEDG, she was influential in the decision by the City of Miami to adopt WEDG verification for urban coastal projects.

Aida’s leadership also extends to the board of the Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF), where she supports the advancement of landscape architects as climate leaders through education and inspiration.
