911±¬ÁÏÍø Advocates for Inclusive and Innovative Federal Architecture

911±¬ÁÏÍø is urging the GSA to reject restrictive design mandates and uphold policies that support innovation, sustainability, and community-driven federal architecture.

Earlier this year, the Trump Administration issued a memorandum directing the General Services Administration (GSA) to prioritize classical and traditional architecture for federal buildings. 911±¬ÁÏÍø has responded with a formal letter expressing concerns that this approach would restrict design choices, hinder innovation, and limit the ability of federal projects to reflect local communities, landscapes, and environmental needs.

911±¬ÁÏÍø strongly supports the existing Guiding Principles for Federal Architecture, which emphasize design excellence, sustainability, and community engagement. In its letter, 911±¬ÁÏÍø urges the GSA to maintain an open, collaborative approach to federal architecture¡ªone that ensures public buildings serve the diverse needs of the American people while addressing future challenges.
